The Kenora District Services Board will find out next Thursday if the
Province is willing to spend more money to fix the Parkview Apartments in
Kenora.
Chair Brian Larson says the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing
has agreed to revisit the issue.
Larson says they need more then the Government’s commitment of
$900,000.

A professional engineer has advised the Board that the structure wasn’t
built to Ontario Building Code standards in 1987 and is suffering from severe
moisture damage.
