The month of September was wet and warm in northwestern Ontario.
Bill Laidlaw of Signal Weather Services says it wasn’t the warmest September we have seen, but notes it was two degrees above average.
Laidlaw notes we had nine days in the 20’s.
The warmest day was September 12th, when the thermometer reached 28.4-degrees.
Laidlaw adds total rainfall was well above average, about 1-and-a-half more than we usually see.
The rainy weather will continue this week as the next slow arrives from the West.
Laidlaw says we could see almost an inch of rain when all is said and done.
