A promising start to the season for the Kenora ‘AAA’ Midget Thistles.
The Thistles posted back-to-back shutout wins to open the season against the Norman North Stars, including a 3-0 victory on Sunday.
Kenora also recorded a 5-0 win Saturday night against the North Stars.
Former Dryden Minor Hockey products Dylan Winsor had two goals, while Ben Hackl picked up a pair of assists.
Dryden’s Nathan Kiddie and Sam Brunton both recorded an assist.
The Thistles continue their homestand this weekend with a pair of games against the Pembina Valley Hawks.
