Environment Canada has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Red Lake, Ear Falls, Western Lac Seul, Caribou Park, Perrault Falls and Kenora.
The Thunderstorm Watch covers several communities that are already under Air Quality Advisories due to forest fires, including Red Lake and Ear Falls.
At 4:25, Doppler Radar at CKDR.NET shows a line of small but intense storms tracking toward Red Lake, North of Red Lake and west of Red Lake and Ear Falls. The systems are heading eastward.
