A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for parts of the region, including Seine River Village-Mine Centre and Atikokan-Upsala-Quetico.
Environment Canada downgraded the watch from this morning’s thunderstorm warning, which they said could bring wind gusts up to 90 kilometres per hour, and over 50 milimetres of rain.
