Environment Canada has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the entire region.
Officials say conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
We could see strong wind gusts of 90 to 110 km/h,
nickel to quarter sized hail and heavy downpours.
The storm is expected to develop early this evening and last into the night.
