A long standing event that traditionally brings together some 750 women for an evening of elegance, fun and glamour is making a return to Dryden.
Shake Your Booty is set for Mothers Day weekend, May 12th at the Memorial Arena.
The announcement was made on the CKDR Morning Show Monday by Dream Believers Committee Co-Chair’s Debbie Lindquist and Charlene Everett as well as Hospital Recruitment and Fundraising Coordinator Chuck Schmitt.
All money raised from the all-ladies event will support cancer treatment programs at the Dryden Regional Health Centre.
The theme for this edition of Shake Your Booty is ‘Old Hollywood Glamour’ and the organizers are promising traditional fun as well as new surprises.
Schmitt says he’s grateful for the work of the Dream Believers, stressing they have raised over $100,000 over the last two versions, an incredible feat given a community our size.
He believes the upcoming event will be “bigger and better”.
