We could have an earlier start to the shipping season.
As it stands the season is set to start on March 25th but Port CEO Tim Heney says it could be even sooner.
A US icebreaker is expected in Thunder Bay tomorrow to get the port ready for the season.
Heney adds there’s very little ice on Lake Superior so it’s only a few days of work.
