Representatives from the Museum of Human Rights in Winnipeg have heard the concerns of residents of Shoal Lake 40.
The Kenora area First Nation requested the meeting after complaining that the museum was using water from the lake surrounding their community.
Band officials feel their rights have been violated by the fact their water is being used by the City of Winnipeg.
A day long session took place Wednesday, with residents talking about the impact living in the community has had on their lives.
