Shoal Lake Woman Stabbed to Death

A 34-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder after a Shoal Lake woman was stabbed to death in a downtown Winnipeg rooming house.
Mulugeta Geddy Gillamichael is accused of killing 36-year-old Valerie Ann Paypompee.
She was stabbed in the lower body early Sunday morning and died later in hospital.
Paypompee is originally from the Shoal Lake First Nation, just outside Kenora.
