Shooting on Cat Lake First Nation Under Investigat

The Nishnawbe-Aski Nation Police Service has asked the OPP to conduct an independent investigation after a shooting on Cat Lake First Nation on the weekend.
Police were called to a home Saturday after concerns were raised about an unidentified male.
Police say a confrontation ensued and an officer allegedly fired a shot and struck the man.
The victim was airlifted to Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
