Significant Cut To Specialized School Programs

Specialized school programs in Ontario are taking a hit.

The PC government has cut $25-million from a special fund that provides support for tutors and leadership training and programming.

A Ministry of Education statement to the province’s 72 school boards states the fund has a long track record of wasteful spending, overspending and millions of dollars of unfunded commitments.

It’s not clear how local boards will be impacted.
