SIJHL Awards

The SIJHL has announced the nominees for regular season awards and the Dryden Ice Dogs and Sioux Lookout Flyers are well represented. John Mitchell of Dryden leads the way with a pair of nominations for Player of the Year and Best Defenceman while Jesse Wilkins of the Flyers also has 2 separate nominations for Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year. Other Ice Dogs nominees include Ian Perrier for Best Goaltender, Alex Galbraith for Rookie Of the Year, Clint Mylymok for Coach of the Year, Ben McClellan for Most Improved Player and Jesse Linner for Best Defensive Forward. Winners will be announced over the next two weeks as the regular season comes to an end.
