SIJHL Expansion

The Dryden Ice Dogs will need to start looking at booking trips to
Spooner, Wisconsin.
SIJHL Commissioner Ron Whitehead says the community will be home to
an expansion team next season.
Whitehead says other parties have expressed an interest as well.
He says he’s also been in talks with groups in Fort Frances,
Wawa, Marathon and Atikokan about joining the league.
The Spooner team will play a half-season next year and a full schedule
the following season.
