SIJHL Lakers And Wilderness Come To A Head Tonight

The Fort Frances Lakers have one more kick at the cat tonight in the 1 versus 2 SIJHL mini-series. The Wisconsin Wilderness won 2-1 last night and hold a 1 goal lead heading into the 2nd game tonight. Wisconsin won first half of the series 6-3 at home but if the Lakers can win tonight it will force a shootout to decide the series. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at the Ice For Kids Arena. The winner of the series will chose their opponent in the second round of the playoffs. Dryden is through to the next round while the Sioux Lookout Flyers and Thunder Bay North Stars will return to the ice tomorrow night for game 5. The North Stars lead the series 3 games to 1.
