SIJHL Player Of The Week

The Superior International Junior Hockey League announced Monday that recently signed Dryden Ice Dogs defenceman Daniel Morin has been named Pizza Hut player of the week for the time frame running Dec. 19-25.
The 18-year-old product of Ignace, made a definite impression in his Dryden debut last week by recording a total of six points in his first two games in an Ice Dogs’ uniform.
Morin began by notching the game-winner and dishing out three assists in his initial SIJHL contest Tuesday, leading Dryden to a 10-3 victory over Iron Range. He followed that up the next night by setting up two more tallies, including the eventual winner, as the Ice Dogs blanked Sioux Lookout 5-0.
