Sioux Lookout 35 Update

The Chief of New Osnaburgh First Nation (Mishkeegogaming) has ordered a complete evacuation of the community.
150-people are now in Geraldton, 195-in Sioux Lookout and 105 in Ignace.
The remainder of the population in New Osnaburgh is off-reserve and are staying for now.
The evacuation is due to a large fire burning about 15-kilometres east of the community.
The Ministry of Natural Resources says the fire has grown to nearly 30-thousand hectares in size.
Smoke is drifting into the Pickle Lake, Sioux Lookout and Dryden area.
The fire is not under control and crews are having difficulties with shifting wind conditions.
