The Municipality of Sioux Lookout is taking a close look at infrastructure needs.
Three public information sessions are being held in the community over a six month period.
The first meeting is Thursday night at 7 o’clock at the Centennial Centre.
The session will centre on the current status of infrastructure and the realities facing the community moving forward.
Mayor Doug Lawrance says they want to address address their needs and explore possible partnerships with both levels of senior government.
He notes addressing crumbling infrastructure across the North can’t happen without input from the community and government support.
Lawrance says looking at the Asset Management Plan was brought up in the municipal election campaign.
