Sioux Lookout Comes Up Short In ‘A’ Side Final

A good weekend on the ice for the Sioux Lookout Bantam ‘AA’ hockey team.
Sioux Lookout was competing in the Bantam Tournament in Fort Frances on the weekend.
The Flyers ran the table in the round robin with victories over Seine River, Thunder Bay’s Norwest, the Southend Rangers and the SouthWest Jets.
Sioux Lookout booked their ticket to the final with a 2-1 shootout win over the host team.
The Flyers ran out of gas in the ‘A’ side final, dropping a 6-1 decision to the Kenora Thistles.
