Sioux Lookout Fills New Position

The Town of Sioux Lookout has created a Community Development and Communications Officer position.
Neil Carbone has been hired to handle marketing duties and assist the Economic Development Officer.
Carbone says economic activities are ramping up.
The Sioux Lookout native says work planned includes new signage, a new youth centre, underpass improvements and redeveloping Cedar Bay.
He adds they are looking a late Spring or early Summer groundbreaking for the downtown and train station revitalization project.
Carbone will also be responsible for improving internal and external communication.
