Sioux Lookout’s Director of Community Services believes it’s important
for residents and tourists that area boat launches stay open.
The Municipality has agreed to take 8 sites off the hands of the
Ministry of Natural Resources.
Al Howie says they plan to clean up the launches, maintain and improve
them, as well as implement user fees.

it’s acceptable.
The Town has applied for Provincial funding for start-up costs.
