Sioux Lookout in Charge of Landings

The Town of Sioux Lookout has agreed to take over 8-popular boat
launches and spend $10,000 on upgrades.
Council has reached a deal with the Ministry of Natural Resources to
maintain the landings to ensure they remain open and operated by a public
agency.
The launches, including the Deception Creek landing, will be in the
spotlight at a public meeting on April 12th.
Town officials say they want to discuss user fees and what needs to
be done to improve the sites.
