The Municipality of Sioux Lookout is introducing an app to the community called “iCemetery”.
The app allows people to conduct genealogy research from the people who rest there as well as a mapping feature which can help people find loved ones.
Municipal Clerk Brian MacKinnon says the app is free for download from the Apple App store as well as Google Play.
MacKinnon says the app is one of the outcomes of their push to digitalize cemetery records.
