The Federal Government wants the Northwestern Health
Unit to take over immunization of first nations north of
Sioux Lookout.
Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Pete Sarsfield says
they’ll take on the responsibility, once they receive
adequate funding from the Province.

the 28 remote northern communities, but stopped when they
were no longer a Federal facility.
