OPP in Sioux Lookout are going to be giving away “positive tickets”.
The tickets will be given to youth cyclists who are seen by police wearing a helmet.
The tickets can be traded in at Fresh Market Foods for a jumbo Mr. Freeze.
Sergeant Andrew Simpson says the program helps people realize that helmets are not only safer, but they are the law.
Simpson adds that over the past 3 years, the program has been successful.
