The curtain has closed on another season for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.
The Ice Dogs fell 5-3 to a shorthanded Fort Frances Lakers squad Thursday night.
Dryden jumped out to an early 1-0 lead but surrendered three quick goals.
They would cut the deficit to one with a second period goal but a powerplay marker in the third ended up closing the door.
Cole Golka, Derek McPhail and Dylan Cusmano scored for the Dogs.
Fort Frances outshot Dryden GM 30-26.
The Lakers advance to the Semi-Final against Toronto.
