Sioux Lookout Pursuing Research Centre

The Municipality of Sioux Lookout is pursuing the development of a
Fish and Wildlife Research centre on Lac Seul.
The Centre would allow scientists and researchers to study the fish and
wildlife of the Boreal Forest from a Northwestern Ontario vantage point.
The Province is providing $5,000 under the ‘Go North’ program
to host a tour for analysts from the University of Guelph.
Town officials are hoping the site visit will spark some interest in
the proposed facility.
