A new program is being offered in Red Lake, Sioux Lookout, Ignace and
Kenora to help students with their homework.
Larry Hope is a Superintendent of Education with the Public School
Board and says qualified teachers are now working with children during the
lunch-hour or after school.
The program focuses on students from junior kindergarten to grade 6 but
is open to children in grade 7 and 8.
The Board received a $23,000 grant to offer the program.
