Sunday is National Aboriginal Day, and Sioux Lookout is prepared for the day.
The celebration will take place from 10:00-4:00 at the Town Beach.
Spokesperson Che Curtis-September says they will be holding a Truth and Reconciliation walk starting at 11:30 at the Friendship Centre.
Walkers will make their way to the opening ceremonies at noon.
Other events include canoe races, drumming along with traditional foods and crafts.
Curtis-September says it’s a great event for the community with plenty of activity for all age groups.
