Sioux Lookout Spawning Run

The 9th Annual Spawning Run is being held on Saturday and is being hosted by the Sioux Lookout H.O.G. chapter.
Motorcycling enthusiasts will travel 20-kilometres up the North Road at Mills Creek.
Rick Jaworski was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show today and he says the event is open to all riders.
Jaworski says participants will converge at a Ministry of Natural Resources observation deck to view the fish spawning.
It runs from 1 until 3 and there will also be a barbecue and refreshments.
For more information call Rick at 737-2226.
May is also ‘Motorcycle Awareness Month’.
Jaworski says they are promoting the saying “Take a sec and double check” this month.
He notes it’s important that motorists are aware that riders take to the streets when the weather heats up and encourages everyone to share the road.
