The Municipality of Sioux Lookout is making sure their voice is heard by Parliament.
Recently the municipality participated in a delegation led by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities which helps bring local infrastructure priorities to Parliament.
Mayor Doug Lawrence mentions that involvement in these sessions helps bring the voice of Sioux Lookout to the national table.
Councillor Yolaine Kirlew participated and says the level of involvement with the Federation is paying off.
Kirlew goes on to say this infrastructure plan has tremendous potential to boost the economy and quality of life in Sioux Lookout.
