Sioux Lookout Teams Drop Opening Games At CARHA Championship

Two Sioux Lookout teams are competing in the CARHA Hockey World Cup in Windsor, Ontario.

The event is held every four years in a select Canadian city and attracts some 120-participants from all across the country, the U.S. and Europe.

The Sioux Snipers dropped their opening game against the Roadhouse Women 2-1.

Krystin Lawrence scored the Snipers lone goal.

They are back on the ice Wednesday.

The Sioux Aces fell 5-2 to Orebro, Sweden in the +45 year-old-age division.

Terry Turner and Brad Fahriger scored for the Aces.

They hit the ice once again Tuesday morning.
