A false alarm in Sioux Lookout has landed a 22-year-old woman in hot water with the law.
Provincial Police received a call for assistance from a local resident on Monday.
The individual alleged that she was a victim of a series of criminal offences.
OPP conducted a thorough investigation and determined it wasn’t true.
Police say Ashley Webster of Sioux Lookout has been charged with three counts of public mischief.
