Sioux Lookout Wraps Up 11th Annual Walleye Weekend

A weekend of tournament fishing has come to a close.

Sioux Lookout wrapped up the 11th annual Walleye Weekend Sunday night.

Kyle Hulsey and Jeremy Bryan took the 1st place tittle this year with a two day total of 20.48 pounds.

Kyle Hulsey also caught biggest fish on the final day, weighing 4.76 pounds.

Here`s the rest of the top ten teams:

2nd- Jay and Garrett Hulsey 19.86 pounds

3rd- Brandon Kamm and Cliff Sutherland 19.29 pounds

4th- Dan Daciw and Andy Colla 18.84 pounds

5th- Corey Grenier and Jamie Pelaia 18.52 pounds

6th- Jerry and Dar Woods 18.41

7th- Brendan Sitar and Rene Boileau 17.66

8th- Derek James and Jesse Clayfield 17.52

9th– Dean and Colton McDonald

10th- Jeremy and Darren Kennedy

There was a total of 75 teams in the tournament.

Organizer of the tournament, Christine Hoey says it is always a great weekend and many fishing teams come every year from all around the region and even a few from across the border.

She also gives many thanks to all the volunteers and sponsors who make Walleye Weekend possible.
