Pay It Forward!
That’s what Dryden Minor Soccer and the Dryden Ball Diamonds Committee is doing with the donation of its food booth to the Oxdrift Recreation Committee.
Committee spokesperson Mat Langlais says they will be moving the structure on top of a new well and will use it as either a pump house or canteen.
Langlais says they have made significant improvements to the outdoor rink with fresh paint and LED lighting.
He says they are now working on a fundraising project to replace the rotting boards along the arena wall.
Langlais adds they have managed to maintain the two nearby ball diamonds, stressing the goal is to keep their infrastructure in good condition in order to enhance community pride.
