An electrical fire on the roof of Sioux Mountain Public School in Sioux Lookout Thursday afternoon forced the evacuation of students and staff.
They were relocated safely to Queen Elizabeth High School.
The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board says all students can be picked up at the High School, while regular bus service will be transferred there.
Board officials say the fire doesn’t appear to be serious, but note services had to be cut off as a result.
They add they will monitor the situation and determine if classes will resume Friday morning.
