The Town of Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls is confident two provincial parks in their community will be in a break-even situation in the next couple of years.
The municipality has been subsidizing their operation for several years now.
Mayor Jerry O’Leary says being able to use Parks Ontario’s central reservation system has been a big help since it seems like they want to see the town succeed as well.
O’Leary adds that Parks Ontario is allowing them to book campsites for the whole season, which provides them with a steady revenue stream.
