Site Selection for Nuclear Waste

The Nuclear Waste Management Organization is recommending the Federal
Government store Canada’s used fuel underground and adopt an adaptive
management plan.
Spokesperson Mike Krizanic says the waste needs to be moved because of
safety reasons, not because of a lack of space.
If the Feds go ahead with the plan, the next step would be site
selection.
