SIU Concludes Investigation

The Special Investigations Unit has wrapped up its probe into the circumstances surrounding a motor vehicle collision on Grassy Narrows First Nation last month.
The incident occurred on Highway 671 when an OPP cruiser struck a pick-up truck, injuring 4 people, 2 of which were serious.
After a 7 week probe, the SIU determined the Officer caused the collision by attempting to overtake another vehicle, but the Officer will not be held criminally responsible.
