Tragedy Averted

A potentially tragic situation was averted last night in Dryden.
Police were called to a Colinization Avenue home where someone was on the roof threatening to jump off.
Officers started talking to the youth and assistance was also offered from the crisis response team, OPP, the Dryden Fire Service and ambulance personel.
After 3 and a half hours in nasty weather, the youth agreed to come down and was taken to Hospital.
