Six Forest Fires Over The Weekend

The Ministry of Natural Resources has extinguished all forest fires in Northwestern Ontario.
Officials say between Friday and Sunday, there were six fires reported in the Sioux Lookout, Nipigon and Thunder Bay districts.
High high levels of precipitation fell over the region during the long weekend, however, due to the lack of it expected in the far North, the fire hazard is expected to climb in that area.
