Dryden Police, Provincial Police, Treaty Three Police in partnership with the Northwestern Health Unit and a local pharmacist held a prescription drug drop off on May 11th.
In Dryden, 41-residents stopped by and about 20 pounds of unwanted pills and medications were turned in.
Meanwhile in Ignace, three people stopped by and turned in another three-pounds.
OPP would like to remind the public that they can turn in any prescription medication to their local pharmacy at any time.
