Serious Apartment Fire In Dryden

No one was injured but 10-people have been forced from their home following an apartment fire on Clearwater Crescent on Saturday night.
The Dryden Fire Service says the blaze started in a basement apartment in the 4-unit complex.
Officers were able to control the fire within 20-minutes of the call but it took some time to clear out the smoke.
Fire Chief Ken Kurz says the apartment sustained heavy fire, smoke and water damage estimated to be in the thousands.
Kurz says the investigation centres around smoking material in the bedroom area of the basement apartment.
4-adults and 6-children are staying in a local hotel until the probe is completed and the damage is repaired.
The Canadian Red Cross in Dryden was involved in the relocation.
