The Keewatin Patricia District School Board is offering
students a chance to major in a specific skilled trade.
Dryden High School students can take a mix of classes
geared towards the Construction and Transportation Fields.
Student Success Leader Mary-ann Bishop says the board
will offer skilled trades programs differently.

Red Lake will offer a diploma majoring in Construction,
Ignace has Transportation, and Sioux Lookout offers an
Environment specialty with a cultural focus.
Bishop adds the specialized programs will help prepare
students for apprenticeship, college, and the workplace.
