The provincial government is promising an extra $7-million for 50 small hospitals.
Health Minister Eric Hoskins made the announcement but didn’t provide any specifics.
Details about which hospitals will be getting the extra funding will be made over the next few days.
It’s expected each hospital will receive a 1% increase to their base budget.
