Small Business Job Credit

A chance for small business owners across the region to save some money.
The Federal Government has introduced a new Small Business Job Credit.
Kenora MP Greg Rickford says it will save small businesses more than 550-million dollars over the next 2-years.
The credit will lower EI premiums from $1.88 to $1.60 per $100 of insurable earning in 2015 and 2016.
Rickford says employers and employees will also benefit from a substantial reduction in the EI premium rate in 2017.
