Economic Development seems to be a high priority among Dryden taxpayers.
A small crowd attended the City’s pre-budget consultations last week
and everyone in attendance appeared to support boosting the $140,000 economic development budget.
One person in attendance recommended increasing taxes and Councilor Brian Collins suggests that’s one possibility.
Improving the City’s trail system, reviving public transit, fixing the dressing rooms at the Arena, constructing a Bandstand at Cooper Park for outdoor concerts,
road improvements and beautification projects were other suggestions for the 2007 budget.
