Trustees with the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board are leaving local schools with an expensive parting gift.
Superintendent of Education Sean Monteith says 11 schools across the region have received Smart Board’s as part of a new legacy project.
The SMART Boards cost about $5,000 a piece.
Monteith says SMART Boards are revolutionizing the education system.
New Prospect and Riverview School in Dryden are among the schools to benefit from the project.
