Dryden’s cultural plan is moving forward.
A draft version is in the works following 2-days of meetings with community, business and municipal leaders.
Cultural Planner Gwen Kurz says a final draft will take time given the broad scope of the issue.
Getting the public to buy into cultural strategies, marketing current attractions and promoting the City to visitors and residents were all issues discussed during the session.
Establishing partnerships, communication and establishing strong community events were other hot topics.
Kurz says she hopes to present a final plan with specific recommendations to Council early next year.
