The long awaited Smile Cookie campaign is here at Tim Hortons in Dryden.
The fundraiser was delayed due to renovations earlier this summer.
Proceeds from the sale of the cookies go to the Mayor’s Committee for Children and Youth.
Since 2004, the Committee has received $16,445 from the campaign.
Co-Chair Helen Clark says the money helps anyone requiring financial assistance to enrol their child in youth activities, organizations and sports.
Clark says they help at least 400-children a year in Dryden, Ignace, Wabigoon and Vermilion Bay.
